About the role

  • Associate Site Merchandising Manager driving strategies for eBay Live events across platforms. Collaborating cross-functionally to optimize live commerce initiatives for user engagement and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Own the eBay Live Hub merchandising strategy: Develop and maintain a dynamic programming calendar to showcase upcoming and on-demand eBay Live events, optimizing for traffic, conversion, and customer engagement.
  • Lead performance analytics: Monitor KPIs across the Live hub and channel placements to understand what drives engagement and sales. Translate insights into actionable strategies and continuous optimization.
  • Brief and partner with marketing teams: Collaborate with internal brand, performance, and CRM marketing teams to brief them into key eBay Live programs and ensure cohesive multi-channel campaigns support event awareness and traffic.
  • Drive content partnerships: Lead content strategy with external media partners and influencers to develop high-impact assets and storytelling that amplify eBay Live events and bring new customers into the ecosystem.
  • Cross-functional campaign strategy: Collaborate with the Core Site, Category Merchandising, and Homepage teams to integrate eBay Live events into key site placements and seasonal campaigns, ensuring eBay Live is positioned as a core shopping destination.
  • Optimize content and UX: Work with product, UX, and creative teams to test and refine content modules, layout, and user flow on the Live hub for improved discoverability and engagement.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and experience across all eBay Live merchandising touchpoints, ensuring alignment with eBay’s overall strategy and shopper promise.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in site merchandising, content strategy, digital marketing, or related field, preferably in eCommerce or digital media.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using dashboards, KPIs, and A/B testing to drive performance.
  • Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally and influencing without authority.
  • Experience briefing creative and marketing teams, and managing calendarized content planning.
  • Passion for live commerce, digital storytelling, and customer-first thinking.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with eBay, live streaming platforms, e-commerce marketplaces a plus
