About the role

  • Operations Manager leveraging data analytics and automations to streamline processes in a fast-paced fintech startup. Collaborating cross-functionally to enhance operational efficiency across teams.

Responsibilities

  • You will use self-sourced data to analyse specific process performance, contributing to root cause analysis and solution proposals
  • You will measure results against existing KPIs and report findings to senior management
  • You will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining automations within existing platforms (Jira, Hubspot, Pipedream)
  • You will focus on developing and launching smaller, defined automations that address immediate pain points
  • You will collaborate actively with teams such as Underwriting, Product & Engineering, and Sales globally to gather requirements and execute tasks that improve overall efficiency
  • You will support the coordination and communication required to align project activities
  • You will execute process improvement tasks by assisting senior team members in identifying and prioritising inefficiencies and opportunities in how teams work

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally at a fast-paced startup or scale-up
  • Previous experience with workflow automations (e.g., Jira/Hubspot/Pipedream) is essential
  • You're a self-starter who proactively seeks to understand underlying problems and takes initiative to investigate and recommend solutions
  • You have a hands-on, analytical approach to problem-solving
  • You have proven experience in gathering requirements, interpreting data, and presenting findings clearly
  • Hands-on experience with SQL is required
  • Previous experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to assist in the delivery of custom solutions and automations
  • Knowledge of Python or another scripting languages is a big plus!
