About the role

  • Work closely with the Chief of Staff to the CEO to support overall effectiveness and organization of the Office of the CEO
  • Enhance the Chief of Staff’s ability to provide direction-setting, problem identification and solving, decision alignment, speed and transparent communication
  • Develop strong working relationships with OCEO team and other key internal stakeholders
  • Gather information, synthesize views, surface, connect and translate "the dots" and help prepare CEO briefings
  • Support development of CEO board reports and updates and support executive events and strategic offsites
  • Support effective flow of information and decisions for the Chief of Staff and CEO; manage and track CEO stakeholder engagement and follow-up
  • Partner with executive assistants on calendar management to ensure effective use of the CEO’s time
  • Contribute to creating new OCEO efficiencies and capabilities and develop/implement AI and automation solutions to increase productivity
  • Lead execution of selected key initiatives/projects; monitor and maintain inventory of critical path projects
  • Determine proper course of action for issues, ensure they are addressed efficiently, and track progress until completion
  • Partner with communications, strategy, legal, IR, people, finance, and division teams to support collaboration with the OCEO
  • Support monitoring internal data related to organizational performance (P&L, KPI reporting) and analyze statistics, research data, KPIs and company/country data as needed
  • Handle highly confidential information and operate with discretion and high ethical standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, professional services, or related field
  • Comprehensive understanding of S&P Global’s businesses, products, and services
  • Significant experience interacting with senior leaders
  • Broad range of experience with analysis tools and frameworks
  • Experience developing and implementing AI/automation solutions to increase productivity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling with data in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Work schedule requires overlap with Eastern time zone during 8:00 am - 1:00 pm daily
  • Ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion and unquestioned ethics
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills; ability to build relationships and collaborate across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities, managing immediate demands and long-term projects
  • Proven ability to navigate a large matrixed organization with high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Resilience and strong emotional intelligence
