About the role
- Associate Director overseeing contracts and subcontracts for Raytheon UK. Leading teams to deliver commercial excellence and executing high-value proposals.
Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Director of Contracts and Subcontracts for RUK
- Oversight and responsibility for all commercial and subcontract activities for various RUK business areas
- Lead a team of Contracts and Subcontract senior managers to inspire their teams to deliver customer excellence
- Developing the strategy for strategic, competitive and complex medium to high value proposal across RUK
- Ownership of contract and subcontracts execution strategies that drive margin improvement and increase programme efficiency
- Leading contracts and subcontracts projects to ensure execution is compliant in accordance with Raytheon policy
Requirements
- Extensive years’ experience in a contract/subcontract role including demonstrable senior management experience of leading teams to deliver business objectives
- Strong leadership skills to oversee a team of commercial and subcontract professionals
- Multiple examples of excellent negotiation skills, including examples of dispute resolution
- Strong evidence of creating proposals that demonstrate value for money for the Customer
- Bachelors degree of higher in business or related subject/ experience
- Willingness to travel within the UK for face-to-face meetings and internationally as required
