- Business analyst capturing and refining business and system requirements for Bank of America technology projects. Collaborates with stakeholders and development teams to deliver solutions aligned with business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for capturing and refining business and/or system requirements (based on specialization).
- Works with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements.
- Collaborates closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications.
- Possesses knowledge of the business and/or technical domain based on their specialization.
- Leverages experience and understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution.
- Performs Cost/Benefit Analysis to align technology to business strategy.
- Gathers & catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.
- Acts as the product(s) subject matter expert to support scope and requirement decisions.
- Ensures changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies.
- Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience as a business analyst, qa/uat lead, scrum master, or project manager
- Experience working on a team with the Agile Methodology is a must have
- Requirements gathering into Business Requirements Documents, wireframes, epic and story writing, flow diagrams, data mapping, test plans, use cases and scenarios
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, WIKI, ALM for requirements and SDLC, knowledge sharing and documentation of requirements, and issue tracking
- Understand stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem.
- Support cost/benefit analysis to align technology solutions to business strategy.
- Gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.
- Provide subject matter expertise within the business/technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions
- Determine the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications and assist with identifying integration points and the end-to-end solution design.
- Ensure changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies.
- Assist users and development teams in application testing and troubleshooting and may help with test planning and configuring test solutions to validate functional and system needs.
- Document processes, procedures and workflows associated with applications.
