About the role
- Analyst coordinating projects for Energy Market Operations and Market Operations divisions. Managing milestones, documentation, and budgets in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Markets project activities to ensure projects are developed and implemented with high quality with respect to established Project Management guidelines
- Ensure thorough project documentation including compliance and design considerations
- Communicate and coordinate current and upcoming Markets project milestones inside and outside of the division
- Establish parallel timelines and milestones in coordination with project coordinators for the impacted divisions/departments
- Coordinate project budgeting in coordination with Corporate Finance
- Organize testing activities in coordination with IT Quality Assurance department and store all testing documentation
- Coordinate conforming updates to PJM Manuals and supporting documents
- Attend relevant stakeholder meetings to support key initiatives
- Ensure the projects and associated processes are executed in a timely manner, are coordinated and communicated across multiple divisions involved and external vendors
- Ensure that project deliverables are transitioned to organizational functional owners with appropriate training and support structures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- At least 0-5 years of work experience
- Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on work assignments to support the Markets Division.
- Must have high learning agility to understand complex technical problems.
- Must have effective analytical and reasoning capabilities, refined written and verbal skills and presentation skills.
- Must have excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Ability to use mathematical and electrical theory
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support
- Experience with PJM portfolio management processes.
