About the role

  • Analyst coordinating projects for Energy Market Operations and Market Operations divisions. Managing milestones, documentation, and budgets in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Markets project activities to ensure projects are developed and implemented with high quality with respect to established Project Management guidelines
  • Ensure thorough project documentation including compliance and design considerations
  • Communicate and coordinate current and upcoming Markets project milestones inside and outside of the division
  • Establish parallel timelines and milestones in coordination with project coordinators for the impacted divisions/departments
  • Coordinate project budgeting in coordination with Corporate Finance
  • Organize testing activities in coordination with IT Quality Assurance department and store all testing documentation
  • Coordinate conforming updates to PJM Manuals and supporting documents
  • Attend relevant stakeholder meetings to support key initiatives
  • Ensure the projects and associated processes are executed in a timely manner, are coordinated and communicated across multiple divisions involved and external vendors
  • Ensure that project deliverables are transitioned to organizational functional owners with appropriate training and support structures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • At least 0-5 years of work experience
  • Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on work assignments to support the Markets Division.
  • Must have high learning agility to understand complex technical problems.
  • Must have effective analytical and reasoning capabilities, refined written and verbal skills and presentation skills.
  • Must have excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Ability to use mathematical and electrical theory
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support
  • Experience with PJM portfolio management processes.
