About the role
- Responsible for supporting internal controls and compliance auditing at Azul Airlines. Execute internal control tests and document risk control matrices in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute internal control tests in accordance with SOX (ICFR) requirements.
- Support the update and documentation of risk and control matrices (RCM).
- Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analyses, including validation, conflict review, and mitigation recommendations.
- Conduct walkthroughs to understand process design and validate controls.
- Assist in preparing evidence for internal and external audits.
- Prepare reports, KPIs, and presentations related to controls and risks.
- Liaise with business areas to clarify questions, gather information, and support control compliance.
- Participate in continuous improvement, automation, and control/process optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to process mapping and review efforts to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
- Previous experience (3+ years) in internal controls, internal audit, SOX audit, or compliance.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as COSO and ICFR concepts.
- Understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and user access in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Experience with control testing, documentation, and evidence collection.
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with data analysis tools (Power BI) is desirable.
- Fluent English is a significant plus.
