About the role
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their communication and fundraising objectives
- Advise on best practices for alumni communications and donor engagement
- Collaborate with clients to plan schedules, content, and messaging
- Proofread and edit client mailings and newsletters
- Respond promptly to client questions and concerns via email, phone, and video calls
- Coordinate the creation of alumni publications such as newsletters, solicitations, and invitations
- Track projects through review, production, and delivery with external vendors
- Maintain organized content and workflow for multiple client projects simultaneously
- Research and update alumni/member contact information to ensure database accuracy
- Track and analyze gifts, donor engagement, and campaign results
- Prepare and deliver reports illustrating fundraising outcomes
- Participate in weekly team and supervisor meetings and contribute to broader departmental projects
- Maintain a positive, professional, and service-oriented approach with colleagues and clients
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or 4 years of non-profit fundraising/communications experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to confidently guide clients and manage expectations
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with alumni engagement, non-profit fundraising, or fraternity/sorority organizations is a plus
