About the role

  • Design, writing, editing and proofreading for a variety of print/online materials
  • Video production, including project management, storyboarding, content capture, and technical production/editing
  • Serving as Editor of the Georgia EMC CONTACT e-newsletter
  • Serving as photographer for Georgia EMC events
  • Providing event support and on-site staffing as needed
  • Managing updates to Georgia EMC website copy and graphics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • minimum of 2 years marketing and/or communications experience
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video production
  • technical ability in Adobe Creative Cloud software and/or comparable tools
  • Knowledge of the electric utility industry is a plus
