About the role

  • Broad responsibilities for mass donor communications
  • Leadership responsibility for all direct response initiatives and donor stewardship
  • Developing, executing and evaluating comprehensive communications strategies, online and offline, to increase philanthropy and deepen constituent engagement
  • Collaboration with the broader foundation and marketing teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 4-6 years of experience in communications and/or direct-response marketing or related field
  • Self-starter; must use knowledge and creativity to advance robust donor communications.
  • Experience managing projects from conceptualization to completion; excellent management fundamentals including planning, project communication, and project analysis.
  • Innovative marketing experience; well-developed sense of audience needs; ability to communicate effectively with various constituencies.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and content relationships management tools; requires working knowledge of HTML; comfort with graphic design and video editing software.
  • Results-driven individual with desire to enhance acquisition, conversion, retention, stewardship and marketing.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize; highly detail-oriented; able to execute quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience working in print/digital communications.
