About the role
- Agile Project Manager leading the implementation of ITSM solutions for DoD using ServiceNow. Overseeing projects, managing teams and ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direct activities of a cross-functional technical team to for the delivery of large-scale software development products according to the Agile methodology.
- Oversee projects from identification of requirements, analysis and design, development, end-user testing, deployment, and production support.
- Establish strong partnerships with project sponsors and stakeholders.
- Create and manage detailed project schedules to define and schedule all tasks and dependencies for successful project delivery.
- Create and manage project artifacts and customer deliverables.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure adherence to the customer’s Systems Engineering Life Cycle through all project phases.
Requirements
- Current Secret Security Clearance (highly desired) or the ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
- Experience leading matrixed organizations to bring enterprise scale solutions (e.g. ITaaS, SaaS, PaaS) to the DoD.
- 15+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
- Ability to work independently with little direction and management oversight.
- Ability to lead in a fast-moving environment to implement on time and on schedule.
- Experience delivering solutions according to the Agile methodology.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Scrum Master or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification
- Experience using Microsoft Project to build detailed project schedules
