About the role
- Detail-oriented Accounts Officer managing accounts receivable and payable at Quad Lock. Joining a collaborative finance team at one of Australia’s fastest-growing companies in Melbourne.
Responsibilities
- Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Providing general support to the Management Accountant
- Monitoring customer accounts to ensure payments are received according to terms
- Following up on overdue accounts and managing debt collection processes
- Processing incoming payments and allocating them correctly in NetSuite
- Creating and managing bank transactions, including trading accounts and transfers
- Entering credit card transactions, managing a volume of 500+ transactions per month
- Assisting with data entry of accounts payable invoices using Stampli
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting
- Assisting with FX management
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts or data entry roles
- Proficiency using ERP systems (experience with NetSuite is essential)
- Demonstrated experience across the requirements of the role
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
- Understanding of GST implications in accounting processes
- Good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
