About the role

  • Accounting Clerk responsible for finance and bookkeeping activities at Marble. Supporting the Finance Manager and ensuring accurate reporting and data management for decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate ledgers and journal entries
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts monthly
  • Process cheques, coordinate deposits, and manage vendor payments
  • Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Assist with payroll, expense reimbursements, and tax filings as needed
  • Support the Finance Manager with projects and reporting

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role (new grads with strong internships welcome)
  • Exposure to the accounting cycle (A/P, A/R, reconciliations)
  • Comfortable with Excel (formulas, data management) and accounting software (QuickBooks Online a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and able to work independently
  • Based in the Greater Toronto Area and able to work in our downtown office 1-2 days a week
