About the role
- Preparation of reports for financial services regulators
- Responsible for reports related to FINREP, LIQREP and CRR
- Assessment of capital adequacy and ICAAP processes
- Responsible for statistical reporting
- Responsibility for templates not covered by standard applications
- Advising the accounting department on financial reporting
- Maintenance of relevant IT systems, including ETL systems
- Implementation of new regulatory requirements
- Coordination between business units and IT
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
- Professional experience in an accounting department of a bank or insurance company, or as a consultant with regulatory reporting experience, or as a financial/regulatory auditor
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting
- Solid knowledge of global accounting standards (IFRS, local GAAP)
- Analytical mindset
- Structured, organized working style
- Reliability
- Ability to meet deadlines independently and systematically
- Experience working under pressure and within constraints
- Team- and client-oriented working approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Proficiency in German and English
