About the role

  • Maintain existing portfolio of customers and identify opportunities to maximize relationship value to the Bank
  • Deliver a superior customer experience while ensuring compliance requirements and minimizing operational risk
  • Lead all aspects of account management, credit and operational risk for an assigned portfolio
  • Conduct credit analysis for own portfolio; prepare credit applications with risk assessment, credit structure, due diligence, and presentation
  • Use sales platforms to build understanding of customers/target needs, industries and markets; identify and refer customer opportunities to internal partners
  • Execute sales strategies to retain customers and deepen relationships following Business Banking Relationship Methodology (BBRM); meet or exceed targets
  • Negotiate to maximize profitability of relationships based on customer risk profile; oversee account management to ensure accounts remain within guidelines and limits
  • Renew credits in a timely manner and escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions as necessary
  • Participate fully as a team member: support positive work environment, knowledge transfer, training, and performance development

Requirements

  • Undergraduate/Graduate degree and/or 3+ years of relevant experience and/or Associate Program
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience conducting credit analysis and preparing credit applications
  • Knowledge of business banking products/services, cash management, deposit and credit complexity
  • Ability to interpret and analyze customer financial statements with credit acumen
  • Sales and relationship management skills; experience with Business Banking Relationship Methodology (BBRM)
  • Negotiation skills to maximize profitability based on customer risk profile
  • Understanding of market, industries, and broader economic factors
  • Knowledge of regulatory and operational risk requirements and compliance
  • Ability to manage accounts, monitor limits, and renew credits in a timely manner
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
