About the role

  • Achieve profitable sales targets by acquiring new business and nurturing existing customer accounts.
  • Lead pricing negotiations, manage quotations and optimize order patterns to ensure accurate sales forecasting.
  • Oversee the full sales project pipeline, maintaining up-to-date and comprehensive project and opportunity data.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships through regular engagement, including visits and workshops, while providing timely project updates.
  • Initiate and lead proactive product promotion activities aligned with market trends and company capabilities.
  • Act as the central liaison between customers and internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Technical, Supply Chain) on delivery timelines, specifications, legal and quality matters.
  • Champion sales initiatives by coordinating with Commercial, Technical and Marketing teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and exhibitions to enhance visibility and foster new opportunities.
  • Manage internal systems for pipeline tracking, forecasting and pricing, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing across functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Food Science, Food & Nutrition, Food Technology or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of proven success in B2B sales within the Food Ingredients or Food Manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and manage key accounts, with a strong track record of delivering strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and comfortable operating in a dynamic B2B environment with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement with the ability to influence decisions and negotiate effectively.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and positive team player with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
