Responsibilities
- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and simplification
- Experiment with large language models and AI tools to automate reporting, data processing and workflows
- Design, prototype and iterate GenAI powered solutions to reduce manual workload and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to map requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Contribute to Zurich’s digital transformation and sustainability initiatives
Requirements
- Enrolment in a University or institute of higher education for the duration of the position is mandatory
- Hands-on experience with GenAI (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.) through projects, coursework or self driven learning
- A proactive, experimental mindset and willingness to learn new AI tools quickly
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and process analysis skills
- Experience with or interest in process mapping and optimization tools is a plus
- Skilled with MS Office applications; familiarity with SharePoint, Power Automate
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential; proficiency in German is beneficial
