About the role

  • Data Protection Consultant developing and monitoring data protection frameworks for Zurich. Collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring legal compliance in data governance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Development, implementation and monitoring of the Data Protection Framework, including data protection management
  • Conducting DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments) and risk assessments for data transfers in close cooperation with Information Security
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection requirements across business units and with service providers
  • Responding to regulatory inquiries and data subject requests in accordance with legal requirements
  • Managing data protection projects and designing and delivering training, awareness and reporting measures

Requirements

  • University or university of applied sciences degree, or an equivalent qualification with a focus on law, business law or business administration
  • In-depth knowledge of data protection law and experience in risk management
  • Several years of professional experience, ideally within the insurance sector
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
