About the role

  • Auto Claims Team Manager at Zurich leading a team in handling commercial property/casualty claims. Focused on performance and operational improvements in a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct a team of technical Claims Professionals in low to high-exposure claims in commercial property/casualty lines of business.
  • Coordinate the work activities of the team and be responsible for performance, development, and coaching of staff to maximize contributions and drive operational improvements.
  • Report on a hybrid work schedule to various North American Claims offices.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims area OR Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Claims AND Customer service experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience collaborating across work groups
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance legal and regulatory environment
  • Travel 0-20%
