Dairy Sales Specialist responsible for marketing and selling Zinpro Performance Minerals and IsoFerm across the Pacific Northwest dairy industry. Fostering relationships and executing sales strategies to drive growth.
Responsibilities
Responsible for selling and marketing Zinpro Performance Minerals and Zinpro IsoFerm across the dairy industry in the Pacific North West
Grow Zinpro mineral and Zinpro IsoFerm sales through enhanced customer relationships and technical knowledge about products within the supported industry
Retain and expand strong working relationships with large, highly complex, visible, strategic or tactically important dairy customers
Build multi-level and cross functional relationships with strategic new customers
Identify opportunities for improvement within existing accounts and Zinpro’s business
Provide support for customer service issues and coordinate use of company resources to provide value-added services
Develop and execute annual sales strategies for assigned accounts
Provide on-farm training and technical support in dairy cattle management and nutrition
Prepare presentations/proposals that effectively communicate relevant information
Communicate and collaborate with Zinpro’s Product Develop and technical teams
Work in team environment with Sales, Marketing and Product Development
Monitor, evaluate, and report on the activities and products of the competition
Review served market to determine and clarify customer needs/expectations
Maintain monthly sales reports and business growth charts
Effective and efficient use of Zinpro assets
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Business, preferably Animal Science
Minimum of 10 years of feed industry sales or technical service experience
Dairy account management and ingredient supply business experience
Experience servicing large multi-site enterprise dairies
Thorough understanding of the feed and livestock industry in the designated market
Strong communication skills
The ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of business
MS, PhD in Agriculture, or holds a D.V.M. (preferred)
