About the role
- Senior Software Engineer developing and implementing API solutions for Zinnia, leading a cross-functional team for identity and access management.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement API policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Develop enterprise API solutions using an industry leading API platform (Kong).
- Help junior developers to make sure that the enterprise API solutions are implemented correctly and in a timely manner.
- Integrate the enterprise CIAM solution for all internal and external APIs.
- Collaborate with CIAM team to extend its capability to serve our clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- 8+ years of software development experience using typescript frameworks like NestJS.
- Working knowledge of implementing OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect protocols.
- Experience in building industry standard APIs.
- Experience in API governance, versioning, and API APM.
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.
- Working knowledge of common DevOps tasks (Environment provisioning, CI/CD Pipelines, and application monitoring).
- Excellent work ethic. Ability to work and travel independently. Effective strategic thinking skills.
