Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for ZF's electrified powertrain in Hangzhou. Focused on assembly planning and project supervision to enhance manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Assembly planning activities within Region Hangzhou to support internal and external customers, including but not limited to pre-planning conceptualization and capital investment analyses, specification development, equipment vendor selection, installation/commissioning of assembly line (e.g. first run-off), and production releases of assembly line and assembly processes.
Responsible for all production KPI´s related to assembly processes and sequences from planning until line final acceptance.
Develop capital models for equipment cost estimation activities; analyze cost/pricing differences between new investment and equipment changeovers.
Conduct and lead planning activities such as DFM, P-FMEA, Cycle time calculation etc. in project phase.
Complete vendor assessments for selection initiatives through on-site visits and performance analyses.
Ensure implementation in planning phase for equipment installation in the plant related to pre-series and launch management projects.
Requirements
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
3+ years of working experience within a Tier-1/2 Supplier or OEM environment.
3+ years of experience with project supervision in one or more of the following areas: industrialization, assembly line engineering, and/or program/launch management.
Knowledge of assembly planning, specially processes such as: tightening, pressing, glueing, laser marking etc.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Proficient with 3D modeling softwares such as: CREO and AutoCAD.
