About the role

  • Chief of Staff supporting Chief Marketing Officer and marketing leadership team at Zelis. Driving team initiatives and aligning marketing priorities with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CMO and marketing leadership, aligning priorities, tracking critical initiatives, and strengthening cross-team connectivity around a shared vision
  • Break down complex marketing topics and synthesize inputs into clear, insight-rich, succinct narratives that inform, influence, and inspire audiences at all levels
  • Translate those narratives into compelling, executive-ready presentations for the CMO, from quarterly goal updates for senior leaders and investors to ad-hoc communications across the organization
  • Elevate awareness and understanding of Marketing initiatives through proactive stakeholder engagement and clear, “so-what” driven communications across the organization
  • Synthesize deliverables for quarterly business rhythms and monthly marketing-wide business reviews, translating team inputs into concise, compelling insights for executive audiences
  • Co-develop and refine ongoing success metrics and KPIs across annual planning efforts (MITs) and ongoing indicators of team and business health
  • Support talent management and development initiatives, including marketing-wide Town Halls on-site gatherings, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience with a track record of driving business growth and operational excellence
  • Experience working with Marketing teams strongly preferred
  • Exceptional executive storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Ability to translate topics and business priorities for diverse audiences in ways that build empathy, clarity, and excitement
  • Proven project-management capability, including managing multiple high-priority initiatives, owning timelines, and building effective workback schedules
  • Strong ability to drive accountability—setting, communicating, and enforcing deadlines with stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
