About the role

  • Manager responsible for establishing business process excellence in Finance & Procurement at ZEISS. Collaborating on key group programs, standardizing processes, and optimizing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • drive change and establish business process excellence at ZEISS
  • work on one of ZEISS' key group programs
  • drive harmonization and standardization of processes in Finance and Procurement
  • take responsibility to achieve the best solution for ZEISS
  • contribute to the Procure-to-Pay workstreams
  • facilitate between ZEISS functions and process experts
  • steer and orchestrate necessary external consulting support
  • ensure best practice sharing and integration into related processes
  • report results to the overall program management
  • own the alignment of workstream progress with the corresponding senior manager
  • ensure planning, implementation and improvement measures of end-to-end processes

Requirements

  • a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a similar field of study
  • proven experience driving projects in the area of business process excellence or in a similar performance improvement related environment
  • experience with SAP ERP transformations are a big plus
  • results-oriented, analytical and organizational skills paired with strong change communications skills to develop and successfully implement strategic plans
  • a strong change management perspective
  • strong German and English skills
