About the role

• Accounting Specialist optimizing internal processes while collaborating with Operations and Controlling teams. Engaging with the financial authorities and managing US branch transactions.

Responsibilities

• You will be primarily responsible for optimizing and further developing our internal processes as our company continues to grow.
• Together with two colleagues from Operations and Controlling, you will actively manage and monitor our transaction activities.
• Your responsibilities include leading the monthly closing process, covering accounts payable and accounts receivable bookkeeping as well as account reconciliations with the tax advisor.
• You will maintain key relationships and communications with the tax office and the external tax firm to ensure smooth collaboration.
• You will monitor the licensing business in close cooperation with the licensing manager to ensure efficient management of charge-backs and recharges.
• Additionally, you will coordinate transactions for our US branch and maintain regular communication with the tax firm there.

Requirements

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on accounting and finance.
• You bring several years of accounting experience and can provide references that demonstrate your expertise.
• With your experience, you support management in preparing analyses and reports and contribute a financial perspective to decision-making processes.
• Thanks to your excellent communication skills, you enjoy contributing to teamwork.
• You are fluent in both German and English.
• As a digital native, you are eager to work with our digital business processes in addition to Microsoft Office.
• You are a self-starter and are able to work independently and take ownership of your tasks.
