About the role
- Leading the accounting team for ARTUS in Germany, ensuring compliance and optimizing processes in financial reporting. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Professional and disciplinary leadership and development of the accounting team
- Responsibility for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and internal accounting standards
- Supporting the development and optimization of processes
- Participation in projects, e.g., mergers (company integrations)
- Point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, banks and authorities, as well as Group Accounting and other departments
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Accounting or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in accounting in a leadership role with solid expertise in financial reporting under HGB
- Analytical and structured thinking and strategic foresight
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a sense of responsibility, initiative and the ability to work in a team
- Experience with DATEV
