About the role
- Project Manager for ecological land development focusing on land acquisition and biodiversity promotion in Germany. Collaborate on various conservation projects and support department leadership.
Responsibilities
- Acquisition of land and usage rights for the association’s core duties in the areas of wastewater, flood protection and river restoration
- Coordination and negotiation of property projects in cooperation with the relevant specialist departments
- Independent handling of internal and external inquiries regarding the use of association-owned properties
- Drafting and coordinating property-related contract texts in collaboration with the Legal Department
- Participation in the development of tailored ecological measures for association-owned lands to promote biodiversity
- Supporting the department head in all current tasks of the department
Requirements
- Completed degree in agricultural sciences, geography, landscape planning, landscape ecology or a comparable qualification with a property/real-estate focus
- Ideally, professional experience in the described field of work
- Legal expertise is desirable
- Negotiation skills and very good oral and written communication abilities
- High level of responsibility and commitment, loyalty and the ability to work in a team
- Strong interest in protecting and promoting the natural foundations of life in our region
- Class B driving licence
