  • Network administrator focused on Cisco network infrastructure for a public sector organization in Hamburg. Responsibilities include maintenance, optimization, monitoring, and project support for network architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Operation, development and optimization of the Cisco network infrastructure (Switching, Routing, Wi‑Fi)
  • Ensuring stable connectivity of buildings and sites
  • Monitoring network utilization and analyzing performance and availability
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network operational incidents
  • Participating in projects to modernize and expand the network architecture
  • Support for IP telephony and communication systems (VoIP)

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or degree in IT or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in networking with switching, routing and Wi‑Fi
  • Knowledge of common network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, EIGRP)
  • Structured, analytical working style and strong teamwork skills
  • Willingness to participate in occasional on-call duty
  • Very good German language skills
  • Driver's license (Class B)
