About the role

  • Integration Consultant implementing end-to-end Workday solutions for client systems using enterprise technology. Collaborating with customers on technical integrations and ensuring seamless deployments across diverse landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • play a key role in the end-to-end deployment of technical system integrations between a customer’s Workday system and their enterprise landscape
  • Using Workday’s own enterprise-class ESB technology, convert technical integration requirements to appropriate architectural decisions in Workday
  • Build, test and ultimately deploy those integrations into production
  • Support broader technical project discussions about general integration Enterprise Architecture best-practices, application security concepts and system authentication
  • Work on multiple customer deployments and have a great deal of autonomy around how to approach those different workloads each week
  • Capture and understand your client’s business requirements and demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems
  • Configure and test the Workday solution under the mentorship of an Engagement Manager and Integration Lead
  • Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them informed of overall project status
  • Assist the functional consulting team in helping to design and test integrations
  • Ensure the client is referenceable once in production
  • Become efficient at processing and analysing detailed information, making strategic decisions and delivering innovative solutions

Requirements

  • 5+ years delivering complex enterprise business applications projects
  • 3+ years experience in any of the following technologies: SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, Java, .NET or other related technologies
  • 3+ years experience in Web Development (Backend) and Web Services
  • Experience in middleware such as MuleSoft, SnapLogic, SAP PI/PO, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability as an Internal Technical Business Analyst or similar positions within Consulting / Software Companies
  • Understanding of integration patterns, data manipulation and transmission, including optimisation for creating maximum efficiencies in speed and performance
  • A proactive problem solver, with drive for delivering exceptional levels of Customer Service
  • A strong presenter with excellent verbal and written Communication skills
  • Relevant Educational qualifications and/or professional experience in software, IT projects, application development, implementation or support
  • Ability and desire to learn technology quickly through a mix of different mediums
  • Resourceful and adaptable; you will be comfortable working in office, remotely and on-site, utilising a variety of tools with a high degree of autonomy
  • Work collaboratively with multi-functional teams, share your knowledge and coach new team members
  • Passionate for learning and adopting future AI technologies and trends towards Agentic LLMs
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory
