About the role

  • Lead IT projects critical to Woodward's success while engaging cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations. Ensure project success through effective risk and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT projects of varying complexity that are critical to Woodward's success
  • Accountable for project results
  • Accountable for project artifacts (scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, etc.)
  • Lead project meetings and reviews
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop contingency plans and proactively address potential obstacles
  • Monitor risks and adapt strategies to minimize negative and maximize positive impacts on project objectives
  • Analyze complex situations, identify solutions, and make informed decisions
  • Manage budgets, forecasts costs, and tracks financial performance across the program
  • Creates high-performing teams by fostering trust, accountability, and open communication
  • Quickly adjusts plans in response to changing circumstances or new information

Requirements

  • U.S. Person within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure (on-premise and cloud) and Business Systems (ERP, etc.) a plus
