About the role

  • Area Supply Chain Project Manager optimizing supplier performance and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams in New England. Managing projects and mitigating risks for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing strategic supply chain projects, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across assigned spend categories.
  • Lead supply chain projects from initiation through completion, including project planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist in developing project plans, milestones, and progress to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
  • Help mitigate project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate area Requests for Proposal (RFPs), manage project budgets, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Contribute to supplier performance reviews and support supplier development initiatives.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain projects.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in supply chain project management, procurement, or related roles.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) or CASCPM desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Demonstratable interpersonal and communication skills
  • General knowledge of project management, financial analysis, and purchasing.
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier development, and performance measurement.
