Legal Counsel supporting business teams with contractual analysis and data protection compliance at Withings. Engaging proactively with multiple international stakeholders in a dynamic health tech environment.
Responsibilities
Support operational teams in the analysis, drafting and negotiation of client and supplier contracts, NDAs, and similar agreements.
Track contracts using the dedicated contract management tool and contribute to the continuous improvement of contractual processes.
Help update and create contract templates and models.
Monitor legal developments and draft internal legal notes.
Respond to internal requests related to data protection.
Contribute to updating the privacy training program for employees.
Run a legal newsletter on data & privacy topics.
Contribute to GDPR compliance and to monitoring international regulatory developments.
Drive the structuring of legal processes.
Stay open to modern technological solutions (SaaS, legaltech, etc.).
Adopt a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
Requirements
Master’s degree (Master 2 or equivalent) in business law, contract law or digital law, with solid knowledge of personal data protection.
One or more professional experiences in-house (long internship, work-study/apprenticeship or first job).
Fully comfortable in English, both written and spoken (frequent interactions with the United States).
Proficient with Google Workspace and Notion (or motivated to train quickly).
Curious, rigorous, with excellent analytical skills and a strong sense of pedagogy.
Motivated to practice law differently: close to the business, building simple, concrete and pragmatic solutions.
Comfortable in dynamic environments, open-space collaboration, and the challenges of technological innovation in the healthcare sector.
