VMware Cloud Partner Specialist responsible for developing and managing VMware Cloud partnerships in Germany and Switzerland. Collaborating with teams to drive new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Select, activate and develop new VMware Cloud partners in Germany and Switzerland.
Build a VMware Cloud partner network and define go-to-market strategies to recruit new partners.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and organize marketing activities.
Support newly onboarded partners in business development and pursue new business opportunities.
Share sales plans and regularly review development progress and implement corrective measures.
Requirements
University degree or equivalent qualification and at least 5 years of professional experience in the VMware channel business.
Solid background in partnership development and indirect sales.
Experience in direct sales and knowledge of cloud and cybersecurity services are an advantage.
Relevant expertise in one of the following markets: telecommunications, system integrator, software house, cloud service provider or data center.
Strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret partner and customer needs and develop individual growth plans.
Strong team skills and excellent written and spoken German and English.
Willingness to travel—primarily within Germany, but also to Switzerland and Italy (up to 50%).
