About the role
- Operativer Einkäufer managing procurement of goods and supplier evaluations. Working in a project team and ensuring compliance with regulations at WERMA Signaltechnik GmbH.
Responsibilities
- You procure commercial goods according to demand and handle the associated shipping
- Among other things, you procure cost-center materials, low-value assets (GWG) and capital goods within established guidelines and policies
- You obtain and compare quotes and independently negotiate prices, delivery dates and terms
- In supplier management, you conduct supplier evaluations and supplier visits, thereby contributing to our supplier development
- You are an active member of our interdisciplinary project team (SCM process)
- You are the contact person for compliance topics (e.g., RoHS, REACH, conflict minerals, Supply Chain Act (Lieferkettengesetz), etc.) and implement the necessary measures within materials management
Requirements
- Commercial training with technical basics or technical training with a strong commercial background
- Ideally further commercial qualifications (e.g., certified business administrator/business economist or similar)
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing
- Very good ERP knowledge — ideally experience with the SAP MM module or even as a key user
- Very good MS Office skills (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Good command of English
