About the role

  • Supply Chain Specialist managing procurement of indirect goods and services for Canadian operations. Strategic role supporting operational excellence and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage procurement for assigned indirect commodities.
  • Act as a business partner to internal clients and propose tailored procurement strategies.
  • Leverage knowledge of the supplier market (Canadian/regional) to accelerate supplier selection and negotiations.
  • Plan and execute RFPs, market analyses, supplier evaluations and contract negotiations.
  • Draft, renew and manage procurement contracts.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with priorities, savings targets and operational constraints.
  • Identify and execute cost reduction, value optimization and risk management opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ASAT processes and governance requirements.
  • Use Ariba, Fairmarkit and AI tools effectively to analyze spend, assess risks and improve decision quality and speed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and the digital transformation of the procurement function.
  • Track and report realized savings and supplier performance.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs related to suppliers, contracts and processes.
  • Produce analyses and performance reports to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Degree in procurement, business administration, management, logistics or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in procurement, contract management or strategic sourcing.
  • Strong knowledge of S2P processes, indirect procurement and Ariba/Fairmarkit tools (an asset).
  • Excellent negotiation, data analysis and contract management skills.
  • Experience in a multi-site environment and knowledge of the Canadian/regional supplier market.
  • Fluent in French and English, comfortable using AI tools applied to procurement.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office/Excel and the ability to translate analysis into concrete actions.
  • Self-driven, rigorous, proactive, results-oriented, with a strong sense of ethics and confidentiality.
