About the role

  • Solutions Owner supporting strategic procurement processes and assisting with supply chain improvement at Caterpillar Inc. Collaborating with teams to enhance procurement solutions and training efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Support Enterprise-wide Category procurement teams by deploying the next generation Source to Contract process.
  • Collaborate with purchasing verticals and leadership to implement the next generation Strategic Sourcing process.
  • Develop processes or solutions to ensure local requirements are satisfied in partnership with global process owners.
  • Lead change management activities in-region and deliver training sessions.
  • Initiate and deliver ongoing process improvements and answer user questions.

Requirements

  • Degree in a Business-related subject, or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of practical experience serving in supply chain, procurement or closely aligned roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive alignment.
  • Project Management experience and ownership.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Purchasing experience with specific Caterpillar procurement systems or tools (LOGNET, Mach1, CBS, CICT/PCM, etc.).
