Responsibilities
Strategic Development: You take ownership of identifying and developing new business opportunities with a focus on the circular economy end to end. You lead pilot projects for innovative circular economy business models, scale successful initiatives company-wide, and actively lead go-to-market initiatives from ideation to market introduction.
Market Research and Analysis: You continuously monitor emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities to bring cutting-edge solutions to the circular economy business development funnel.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Management: You establish and maintain strategic partnerships to promote joint projects. You act as a key resource for internal teams and external stakeholders, providing expertise on sustainability, circularity, and best practices.
Sales & Commercial Development: You drive hands on revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities in the circular economy space. You build strong customer relationships, translate technical solutions into compelling value propositions, and ensure commercial success through structured pipeline management and market-driven sales strategies.
Reporting and Communication: You proactively document project outcomes and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including strategic recommendations and lessons learned. You monitor and report progress on initiatives.
Requirements
Qualification: You hold a relevant university degree (e.g. in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field) with a focus on business development and strategy, and have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience and Know-How: You enjoy the complexity of looking across sectors, understanding market sizes, market opportunities, and market timing while simultaneously making fast decisions on relevant topics. You thrive in fast-moving environments and are able to adapt quickly. You have a strong understanding of sales dynamics, customer needs, and commercial drivers, as well as a solid understanding of regulatory boundaries and frameworks.
Personality: You are a strong networker and relationship builder with excellent communication skills. You are an analytical and conceptual strategic thinker with execution mindset. Additionally, you are a fast learner with entrepreneurial driven and strong business sense to seek opportunities.
