About the role

  • Manager of Culture Comms role at We Are Social focusing on social media strategies and brand engagement. Working closely with creative teams to generate impactful content and cultural insights.

Responsibilities

  • Work side by side with our internal and client team to develop and execute social strategies, helping to create best-in-class content to establish the brand as an industry leading account on key platforms
  • Build, manage, execute and social content plans, channel strategies and calendars across always-on and campaigns that speaks to key moments in culture and ensure optimal execution of platform features (sounds, hashtags, filters, etc) and best practices
  • Have a thorough understanding of the brand compass and the social strategy and how it plays out in your day-to-day role
  • Lead tactical creative briefs by channel, audience and content pillar in partnership with Strategy team
  • Understand the ins-and-outs of channel updates and form POVs to share implications for internal and external partners
  • Regularly guide a variety of brands on reactive content opportunities and create rationale for clients
  • Lead a social media audits and research deepdives in partnership with R&I teams and present back to clients
  • Can confidently be the “voice of Gen Z” to clients and internal teams
  • Trusted team player who can provide constructive feedback to internal teams with tact to improve quality of work
  • Stay ahead of AI tools and trends and leverage features to supercharge workflow, synthesize research and iterate on strategic frameworks, insights and audience personas

Requirements

  • Serial social media user who can show a deep understanding of key platforms
  • Deeply passionate about culture, trends, fandoms and communities
  • Creative brief and content planning experience
  • Confident research capabilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to interface with clients across contexts
  • Effective communication skills
