About the role

  • Account Manager managing existing customers for a capital provider addressing SMB growth. Focused on upselling and delivering exceptional customer experiences within a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • This is a sales role. You bring a strong hunter mentality, actively identifying upsell and growth opportunities.
  • Your main responsibility is managing a large portfolio of existing customers, with a focus on upselling, renewals, reducing churn, and delivering an outstanding customer experience- empathetic, solution-oriented, and customer-first.
  • You’ll confidently discuss business metrics, cash flow, sales cycles, marketing strategies, and financial products with a wide range of customers. You’ll also help them use Wayflyer dashboards effectively and build true product expertise.
  • We set the bar high for customer satisfaction (currently 4.9 stars on Trustpilot ).

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role (Sales, Account Management, Consulting, etc.)
  • A self-driven, proactive, team-oriented mindset with fresh ideas for improving customer retention and product adoption
  • Proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • A track record of hitting targets while delivering excellent customer service, ideally in a startup or scale-up
  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting (a plus)
  • The ability to stay calm and solution-focused in challenging customer situations
  • An analytical, data-driven approach with an eye for revenue opportunities
  • Experience with Google Ads and Facebook Ads (nice to have)
