About the role

  • Senior Sales Manager responsible for Banking accounts at Wavestone. Driving sales activities and developing innovative solutions for strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the account management of assigned key and target accounts in the banking sector
  • Identifying market trends and the needs of existing and prospective banking clients and translating them into successful sales activities
  • Generating sales opportunities and participating in relevant tender processes
  • Coordinating and managing complex proposal processes
  • Actively further developing the consulting portfolio and co-developing innovative solutions together with the consulting teams
  • Contributing to long-term strategy development and the annual topic and revenue planning for the banking sector
  • Tracking targets and actively shaping Wavestone’s success story

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in consulting for banks or the financial services sector
  • Approximately 3–5 years of experience in account management and pre-sales/sales in banking
  • Preparing proposals for complex services for banks and financial service providers, preferably in business and IT consulting with a focus on SAP projects
  • Robust network of contacts, particularly with retail and direct banks
  • Strong communication skills and negotiation abilities
  • Confident, audience-appropriate communication in German and English
  • Willingness to travel and to network with clients on-site
