About the role
- Manager Insurance Transformation managing complex Insurance Transformation projects at Wavestone. Guiding business and IT transformation focusing on optimization, digitalization, and innovative insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead independent, complex insurance transformation projects.
- Take overall responsibility for projects at the interface of business and IT, particularly in the areas of optimization, digitalization and transformation.
- Strategically develop the consulting portfolio with a focus on innovative topics such as Customer Experience, Omnichannel Sales, Claims Management, AI, Core Platforms, Account Management and Digital Finance.
- Acquire and support clients through targeted sales activities and by actively shaping tenders, pitches and other sales initiatives.
- Leverage AI technologies for process optimization, data-driven decision-making and to support transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience as a consultant in a management consultancy, insurance company, InsurTech or an insurance-related start-up.
- Demonstrable experience leading complex projects using both traditional and agile methods and in managing interdisciplinary teams.
- Solid expertise in insurance transformation, digitalization strategies and technology-based business models.
- Strong sales and business development mindset with proven experience handling tenders and pitches.
- An existing network in the insurance industry that you are willing to further develop.
- Interest in AI applications and their potential to increase efficiency and drive innovation in insurance processes.
- Successfully completed university degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
- Business-fluent German and English skills.
