About the role
- Consultant responsible for designing and implementing ERP solutions driving retail ecosystem. Connecting physical and digital operations while ensuring efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Be the IT lead for domains that support the Retail business: store operations, ERP, payments, inventory and logistics.
- Participate in the definition and lead the implementation of ERP, TMS, WMS and OMS solutions — using market technologies and/or internal developments — ensuring integration with legacy systems.
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems, payment methods and in-store customer journeys.
- Promote the adoption of new technologies, evaluating modern, efficient, flexible and scalable solutions for the supported domains.
- Gather requirements with business areas, write user stories and follow the full development lifecycle.
- Lead technical teams and ensure delivery of solutions defined together with the business team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into clear technical requirements.
- Guide architecture and design decisions, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and high-performance.
- Prepare detailed development plans with schedules, resources and budgets — ensuring deliveries within the planned time and cost.
- Oversee software factories and technology partners, including: request for proposals, solution evaluation, contract management, team allocation and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in technology-related fields is a plus;
- Experience in software development, preferably in the Retail sector;
- Strong technical background in supply chain tools and processes (WMS, TMS, OMS, ERP);
- Knowledge of major market solutions such as SAP, Oracle, Linx Omni, Manhattan, among others;
- Experience with agile methodologies such as SAFe, Agile, Scrum and iterative management practices;
- Knowledge of SRE to empower data-driven strategic decisions and enable proactive monitoring.
