About the role

• Senior IT Consultant focusing on Microsoft MECM/SCCM for public clients in Germany. Involves administration, rollout support, and team collaboration in a dynamic IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Support a public-sector client in Microsoft Configuration Management (MECM, formerly SCCM)
• Setup, operation, administration and optimization of a large Microsoft client/server IT infrastructure with a focus on Endpoint Management
• Creation and customization of boot and Windows images, as well as analysis and design of Group Policies (GPO/GPP)
• Consulting and support for planning and executing software rollouts
• Endpoint Management including packaging through lifecycle management to targeted distribution and assignment to users and devices
• Work in an experienced team of internal and external colleagues
• The role combines technical operations with active consulting and solution design

Requirements

• Completed IT training or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience — as a Senior at least 4 years — in Microsoft Endpoint Management
• Experience in the administrative operation of IT infrastructures including incident, change and release management
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) / Microsoft ConfigMgr and Windows operating systems (Windows 10 and later)
• Ideally experience with a Central Administration Site (CAS) and more than one Primary Site
• Good to very good knowledge of software distribution and experience using PowerShell
• Willingness to undergo a security screening is required — existing SÜ1 or SÜ2 clearance is an advantage
• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
