About the role

  • Technical Leader for MarTech Data Products at Vivo, ensuring scalable solutions aligned with business needs. Leading design and architecture for tracking, analytics, and data flow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and assess the data architecture required to support tracking, analytics, personalization, and data flows originating from GA4 and other MarTech platforms.
  • Perform technical decomposition of requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, data governance, and integration with enterprise architecture.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and highly available data pipelines, ensuring data quality, performance, and security in ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
  • Serve as a technical reference, supporting engineers and resolving critical incidents related to tracking, events, collected data, and inter-system flows.
  • Apply standards, best practices, and data governance policies, ensuring consistency in event taxonomy, tagged data quality, and alignment with corporate models.
  • Implement and evolve observability processes, including monitoring, alerts, logs, telemetry, and metrics that reflect technical health and data integrity.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor Junior, Mid-level and Senior engineers, fostering engineering culture, best practices, and well-founded technical decision-making.
  • Contribute to the strategy and roadmap of the data platform, providing technical vision and guiding architectural, tracking, instrumentation, and governance evolutions.
  • Support alignment across multidisciplinary teams, connecting business, product, data, and engineering needs to ensure a coherent, scalable, and observable data architecture.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of tracking (tagging) by performing technical evaluations of events, payload validations, and audits in GA4.
  • Monitor and validate tagged data end-to-end, from source (frontend/backend) to analytical systems, ensuring adherence to taxonomies, data reliability, and end-to-end integrity.
  • Participate in interviews, workshops, and technical rituals to translate business needs into data-oriented solutions, architecture, and engineering fundamentals.
  • Ensure technical quality criteria, non-functional requirements (security, scalability, performance, observability), and completion of PRR before production deployments.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with data, including data handling, modeling, and understanding of pipelines and integration processes.
  • Experience with MarTech platforms and tools, particularly:
  • Adobe Experience Platform / Adobe CDP
  • SAS (SAS RTDM / SAS CI)
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Or equivalent market tools.
  • Solid experience with Azure cloud and data architecture.
  • Strong analytical capabilities for optimization and solving complex problems.
  • Experience with data security, privacy, auditing, and data quality.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, PostgreSQL, Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, Azure Data Factory (ADF), MongoDB, Kafka, and GA4.
  • Familiarity with modern development tools and the use of AI applied to the engineering lifecycle.
