About the role

  • Motion Designer creating high-impact video ads for mobile fighting game at leading Polish developer. Collaborate on creative strategies and analyze performance metrics for ad success.

Responsibilities

  • Video Ad Production: Create high-volume, fast-paced video ads (15–60 seconds) tailored for mobile platforms, showcasing gameplay, characters, and cinematic moments from our fighting game.
  • Platform-Specific Content: Design and optimize creative assets specifically for TikTok, Meta Stories (Instagram/Facebook), Reels, and YouTube Shorts, understanding the unique aspect ratios, pacing, and user behaviors of each.
  • Ad Structure & Strategy: Apply proven advertising frameworks to your work - including hooks(0–3 seconds), pattern interrupts, call-to-actions (CTAs), and loopable content - to maximize retention and conversion rates.
  • Iterative Creative Process: Collaborate with UA managers to analyze performance metrics (CTR, IPM, CPA) and rapidly iterate on winning concepts, developing multiple variations to beat creative fatigue.
  • Asset Management: Work with game assets (3D renders, character models, UI elements) to create dynamic motion graphics that highlight the game's cyberpunk aesthetic and fighting mechanics.
  • Sound Design: Source or create impactful sound effects, transitions, and music beds that enhance the emotional impact of ads, especially for sound-on platforms like TikTok.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of motion design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing performance marketing creative for mobile apps or games.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop. Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender is a strong plus.
  • Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Stories/Reels, and Meta Ads Manager - including creative specs, trends, and what drives engagement on each.
  • Ad Structure Expertise: Demonstrated ability to craft ads using proven performance marketing principles: strong hooks, clear value propositions, effective CTAs, and rapid pacing.
  • Data-Informed: Comfortable working with UA managers to interpret performance data and translate insights into creative iterations.
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high output without sacrificing quality.
  • Nice to Have (The "Good to Know"): Familiarity with fighting game genres, understanding how to visually communicate combat mechanics, special moves, and character moments in a compelling way; Eye for neon-drenched visuals, futuristic UI elements, and high-contrast color grading that aligns with a cyberpunk world; Experience with 3D software (Blender, Maya, C4D) for creating custom renders or integrating 3D assets into 2D motion graphics; Familiarity with creative analytics platforms (e.g., Motion, Smartly.io, or ad platform dashboards); Ability to edit audio, sync sound effects, and select music that enhances ad performance.
