Responsibilities
You are primarily responsible for the design, configuration and 3rd-level operation of broadband networks
You take care of the expansion and reconfiguration of the redundant network infrastructure
You handle the installation, configuration and commissioning of LAN and WAN solutions
You drive the automation of network element configuration
You are responsible for the creation and customization of network management tools
You work on the deployment and operation of internal servers
You participate in an on-call rotation with your colleagues
Requirements
You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable qualification, or you hold a degree in (business) informatics / computer science
You have experience in routing, switching and operating complex network infrastructures
Ideally, you have knowledge of network protocols such as Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, PPP, L2TP, RADIUS
You are familiar with network equipment from Cisco, Juniper and Nokia
Ideally, you have experience in network automation
You may already have initial experience with scripting languages (e.g. bash, Perl, Python)
You have solid knowledge and hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems
You have a proactive and responsible working style
Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile
