About the role

  • Senior Manager overseeing accounting and tax compliance tasks for multinational clients in a corporate service environment. Manages a team and ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general accounting tasks for a set of clients
  • Accounting invoices and generating/submitting client taxes
  • Preparing financial statements and client reports
  • Manage and supervise professionals and support teams
  • Accountable for client services provided by the team
  • Acts as client escalation point and establishes a good relationship with client management contacts
  • Works closely with key stakeholders to ensure compliance
  • Monitors client service and ensures a clear understanding of requirements
  • Takes a leading role in communication with the team
  • Promotes individual development of team members
  • Responsible for HR topics related to the team and performs audits on processes
  • Remains updated on all legislative changes applicable to accounting & tax compliance

Requirements

  • 5-10 years accounting experience with a corporate service provider managing multinational clients
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing / coaching a small (junior) accounting team
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and legislation as well as tax compliance expertise
  • Knowledge of IFRS is a pre
  • Proficiency in Spanish GAAP and Spanish Tax regulation and compliance (VAT, CIT...)
  • Good client management and communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written
  • Degree in Finance : ADE/Economic or similar
