About the role

  • Scheduling Engineer managing complex project timelines within the energy infrastructure sector. Collaborating with teams in high voltage construction projects to ensure timely execution.

Responsibilities

  • Create and take responsibility for complex execution schedules, including defining the required level of detail and descriptions of activities and resources for overhead transmission line projects
  • Scheduling during the tender phase
  • Ongoing, project-related updating of schedules, including monitoring of resources
  • Prepare variance analyses and propose corrective measures to safeguard the final completion date
  • Jointly with project stakeholders, define project structures, determine the critical path, dependencies and lead times
  • Integrate third-party schedules into a consolidated master schedule
  • Participate in construction and scheduling meetings with clients and project managers
  • Take responsibility for and ensure quality standards in schedule management, including regular project risk analyses
  • Consolidate individual schedules for OHS in-house scope into a division-level schedule
  • Comply with the requirements of the IM system of Omexom Hochspannung GmbH and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of all business processes
  • Perform assigned special tasks

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in project management of construction projects, preferably in the delivery of high-voltage projects with a focus on scheduling, control and monitoring
  • Experience interfacing with typical technical and project-specific disciplines
  • Professional handling of MS Project and/or Primavera as well as very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Driver’s license class B and strong advisory and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (during probation: 2–3 days per week; thereafter as required and by agreement)
  • Business-fluent German
