About the role

  • Contract Manager preparing and managing contracts related to national and international projects. Ensuring compliance and guidance for project leaders with legal questions in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and coordination of the internal proposal/offer approval process
  • Contractual support for national and international projects (from reviewing proposals and tenders, including compliance, export and general terms and conditions reviews, to preparing and conducting contract negotiations)
  • Advising business unit and project managers on contractual matters
  • Analysis and assessment of case law and changes in legislation
  • Participation in cross-departmental projects
  • Acting as a liaison between project management and the internal legal department

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration or law, or a commercial apprenticeship with several years of relevant professional experience
  • Confident demeanor and strong negotiation skills
  • Motivation to proactively and independently tackle new topics
  • Clear understanding of challenges and the ability to derive appropriate measures
  • Team player with a service-oriented approach to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken English
