About the role

  • Contract & Claim Manager responsible for contracts and claims in energy infrastructure projects, analyzing contracts and supporting project teams while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Independent analysis, evaluation and commentary of contracts for high-voltage overhead line projects
  • Comprehensive contract management across the entire project lifecycle in coordination with project management and the relevant specialist departments
  • Development of project- and supplier-specific claims strategies in alignment with the Head of Contract Management and company/project management
  • Management and operational implementation of measures to assert or defend against claims for additional compensation, as well as handling scope changes and construction schedule disruptions
  • Support in schedule, cost and performance control
  • Assessment of opportunities and risks based on contract analysis and project progress
  • Support in developing processes and further improving existing processes and strategies in claim management
  • Operational interface between specialist departments, project teams, stakeholders and the Head of Contract Management
  • Compliance with and application of applicable standards and regulations for occupational health and safety and accident prevention, environmental protection and data protection
  • Adherence to the core values and principles of VINCI Energies

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in a technical, legal or business discipline, or an equivalent qualification
  • Extensive (>= 5 years) professional experience in contract and claims management on large construction projects, ideally in infrastructure or renewable energy
  • Strong expertise in the applicable regulatory frameworks (VOB, HOAI, etc.)
  • In-depth contractual, commercial and technical knowledge
  • Structured, reliable and analytical working style
  • Proactive and communicative personality with a solution-oriented approach
  • Business-fluent German (negotiation level)
  • Driving license (Class B)
  • Willingness to travel (as required by project needs)
